Biogas Flare & Biogas Enclosed Flare (FAII / FAIII / FAIV Series)
EnvironTec manufactures three distinct Biogas Flare series tailored to project duty and inlet gas pressure: (1) FAII Series (100–800 m³/h, 25/30 mbar inlet)—a cost-effective emergency flare for intermittent safety venting; (2) FAIII Series (200–3,000 m³/h, 25/30 mbar inlet)—a high-specification enclosed ground flare with 170mm ceramic fiber lining and SS310S Venturi burner for 24/7 continuous smokeless combustion; and (3) FAIV Series (200–5,000 m³/h, 90 mbar)—a high-spec flare equipped with a VFD biogas booster blower (boosting pressure to 10–20 kPa), ideal for landfill gas and low-pressure pipelines.
100–800 m³/h (DN65–DN150); compact & highly cost-effective for intermittent duty.
200–3,000 m³/h (DN80–DN350); 170mm ceramic fiber + SS310S for 24/7 combustion.
200–5,000 m³/h; includes VFD booster blower (90 mbar / 10–20 kPa) in SS304L/316L.
7.5kV ignition + UV flame detector + SS304 flame arrestor | Optional VK valve & CH4/O2.

Engineering & Sizing FAQ
Q: For a 500 m³/h biogas plant, should I select FAII-650, FAIII-650, or FAIV-650?
All three models are sized with a safety margin above 500 m³/h (650 m³/h nominal capacity, DN150 PN10 flange): Choose FAII-650 (Φ1500×7700mm) if the flare only operates occasionally during CHP engine maintenance (best budget value). Choose FAIII-650 (Φ1700×8377mm) if the flare needs to burn continuously for long periods with zero visible flame and strict thermal insulation. Choose FAIV-650 if your pipeline pressure is too low (<15 mbar) or fluctuates widely (such as landfill gas extraction), as FAIV integrates a VFD booster blower.
